One of these partnerships grew with Kuza Kipaji, a collective of artists based near Nairobi who work to nurture talent and encourage artistic expression among children from underprivileged communities.

Kuza Kipaji promotes music, dance, creativity, confidence and self-expression through structured artistic activities and caring guidance. DFW supports this initiative by financing the studio where the classes take place, helping provide a safe and stable environment for learning and growth.

“I met Stacey while working in the Kibera slum with DFW, and we connected instantly.
When she created her own organisation for children outside Nairobi, it felt natural for DFW to support her work.”
— Catherine Habasque

All participating children receive free access to DFW’s online learning platform, where they can explore Ballet, Flamenco, Indian Dance, Contemporary Dance, Opera Singing and more — opening doors to artistic universes far beyond their immediate surroundings.

The centre also benefits from meaningful international mentorships.
