The project will ultimately reach around 300 children from an underprivileged rural area, offering them access to dance education, creative expression, and personal growth opportunities that were previously unavailable to them.

At the heart of this initiative lie the core values that define DFW’s work:
empowerment, resilience, confidence building, and talent development.

Through movement, discipline, and artistic exploration, the children discover new ways to inhabit their bodies, express their emotions, and affirm their presence in the world. The project nurtures not only artistic skills, but also dignity, self-esteem, and a sense of possibility for the future.

Kato Brovin, a dedicated ballet teacher travels every week from Kampala to give classes, ensuring continuity, structure, and pedagogical excellence. The Bulogo Women’s Group plays a central local role, supporting organization, logistics, and community engagement, helping the project grow organically from within the region.

The program is fully funded by DFW, as part of our commitment to making art a vector for transformation and opportunity — especially in places where access to cultural education is scarce.

Today, the project is flourishing. The children show remarkable enthusiasm, dedication, and creative curiosity. Their progress — both artistic and personal — is a powerful reminder of how dance can strengthen resilience, open horizons, and reveal talent where it might otherwise remain unseen.

This initiative is not only a cultural project — it is a bridge of hope.

[/vc_column_text][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/6″ offset=”vc_hidden-xs”][/vc_column][/vc_row][vc_row][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_video link=”https://youtube.com/shorts/n_ScTn7YG5g?si=4zJ337y0j5I0QnVh” el_aspect=”916″ css=””][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_video link=”https://youtube.com/shorts/fs8lt0CoVCc?si=XGKyA4tnur_HbJD6″ el_aspect=”916″ align=”center” css=””][/vc_column][vc_column width=”1/3″][vc_video link=”https://youtube.com/shorts/iyb86NtGAGk?si=PiCfNg5ZsG_v6jcZ” el_aspect=”916″ align=”right” css=””][/vc_column][/vc_row]

[vc_row][vc_column width=”1/6″ offset=”vc_hidden-xs”][/vc_column][vc_column width=”2/3″][vc_column_text css=””] BULOGO, OUGANDA In July, DFW […]

[3

post-1409","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-missions
["GET
