LESBOS – Moria, biggest refugees camp in Europe<\/h2>\n

In March 2019, Bettina Casta\u00f1o (Flamenco), Catherine Habasque (Ballet & Contemporary), Coskun Erdogan (Breakdance) and Alexander Hartmann (Logistics) travelled to the island of Lesbos<\/strong>, to work with refugees living in Moria \u2014 the largest refugee camp in Europe<\/strong> at that time.<\/p>\n

The project was developed in close collaboration with One Happy Family<\/strong> and Yoga and Sport for Refugees<\/strong>, ensuring that the artistic work grew from within the community and responded to its reality and needs.<\/p>\n

Over several intense days, workshops brought together people from different backgrounds, cultures and life stories \u2014 creating a space for expression, movement, strength and shared presence. Through dance and artistic exploration, participants were invited to reconnect with confidence, dignity, identity and inner resilience<\/strong> during one of the most challenging periods of their lives.<\/p>\n

The experience was documented by a team from Swiss National Television (SRF1)<\/strong> and later broadcast by RSI in Italy<\/strong>, allowing a wider public to witness the human and artistic depth of the project.<\/p>\n
